Expo site entry tickets
The Australia Pavilion offers our event guests VIP tickets to enter the Expo site on the day of the event. Please note these tickets must be printed out and handed to ticket gate staff on arrival at the VIP lane. This is a policy of the Osaka Expo Association, and you may be denied entry if you cannot provide them with a hard copy of the VIP ticket. Your VIP ticket is valid for the day of your event between the hours of 9:00am – 9:00pm.
The Australia Pavilion reception team will send you your VIP ticket to enter the Expo site by email prior to the event, along with a map to the Australia Pavilion.
Luggage
Baggage screening will take place for all visitors entering the Expo site. The maximum size bag that can be taken into the site is W600mm x D900mm x H400mm. Suitcases or carry-on cases with wheels are not allowed to be brought into the Expo site, regardless of size.
There are only a very limited number of large-sized bags able to be stored at the baggage storage areas outside the East and West gates of the Expo site due to space restrictions, so we suggest you leave any suitcases at your hotel or place them in a locker at a nearby train or subway station. The Expo Association has also set up temporary baggage storage facilities and a baggage delivery service within Japan at Bentencho and Sakurajima stations.
