About the Event
Our Business Backstage series continues for 2026 with our first event back this February.
Business Backstage is all about taking you behind the scenes of the local businesses shaping Glasshouse Country. These events give our members and wider business community the opportunity to step inside real workplaces, hear directly from the people behind the business, and explore the challenges, growth and opportunities that come with building something meaningful in our region. It’s also a chance to connect with fellow business owners in a relaxed, welcoming setting over coffee and conversation.

Join us at Masterpiece Dance, now located at Units 7 & 8, 47 Beerwah Parade, Beerwah, as owners Sarah and Lewis open the doors to their newly opened premises and share the story behind their exceptional growth over recent years. What started as a passion project has evolved into a thriving local business, and this move marks a major milestone in their journey.
During the morning, Sarah and Lewis will talk openly about scaling a business, navigating growth, and what it means to build a “business with heart.” We’ll explore how purpose, community connection and strong values have underpinned their success, alongside the practical realities of expansion, team growth and investing locally.
This Business Backstage will also zoom out to look at the significant development currently taking place along Beerwah Parade and Free Street, and what this level of change means for local businesses, foot traffic, opportunity and the future of this part of town.
As always, there will be time for questions, discussion and connection, giving attendees the chance to gain real, behind-the-scenes insight and share perspectives with other business owners navigating growth in a changing region.
The event is free, but places are limited. Bookings are essential.
NOTE: Main access via Free St. Best parking on Mawhinney St and Beerwah Parade.

- Refunds will be determined by the event organiser; if rescheduled, tickets remain valid for the new date, with refunds available within a specified period.
- Verbal and physical abuse, bullying or violence is not tolerated in anyway at anytime and will result in immediate removal from any event as determined by the event organiser.
