About Penny Hall 

Penny is a passionate advocate for sustainable, connected cities, with deep expertise across renewable infrastructure, mobility and city‑shaping projects. Penny has led the city and place narrative from planning through to delivery on major projects across Australia and globally, including Brisbane Metro, Cross River Rail, the ANU Masterplan, London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

With a strong focus on legacy, Penny has been a vocal proponent of major events as catalysts for long‑term outcomes for cities and communities, including her thought leadership on mobility as a cornerstone of the Brisbane 2032 legacy. She is also a Queensland Board Director for the Australian British Chamber of Commerce, supporting meaningful partnerships across government, business, and industry between Australia and the UK.
