Tourism Noosa’s Green Breakfast brings together local changemakers, thought leaders and sustainability advocates to share ideas, ignite conversation and spark action. From innovative local projects to inspiring stories from our members, this event is all about progress, collaboration and real-world solutions.

Discover the latest from our Plastic Free Noosa program with Coordinator Jen Sharpe, including the exciting new Precious Plastic circular economy initiative—where community and business are coming together to turn waste into resource.
Inspire
Be inspired by Professor Ian Lowe, Board Director of Noosa Biosphere and emeritus professor of environmental science at Griffith University. With decades of experience advising all levels of government, Ian will share his perspectives on the value of our biosphere and our collective responsibility to protect it.
Action
Hear from a few of our Tourism Noosa members who are leading the way with eco certifications and innovative green practices. They will share their journey in this space, insights and advice, challenges they have faced and their achievements.
The panel will also include Kathleen Swalling, Tourism Noosa Board Director, a barrister and lawyer who is an expert in the marine and environment sector. Kathleen developed and delivered world-first award-winning programs on the Great Barrier Reef and internationally.
