About the Event
You’ve heard the importance of creating vertical videos for social media. You know that’s how consumers prefer their content served. There’s just one problem … you don’t know how to create one yourself.
Join our team for a deeply practical workshop that will teach you how to create an engaging visual content using just a smart phone.
Across two hours, you’ll learn how to do it, and every single person will walk away with three videos.
You will learn:
- How to cut together an Instagram Reel (and TikTok if you’re up for it!)
- Create an engaging transition
- Find the right audio and set the visual to the beat
- How to identify trends and where to go for trendspotting on social media
- What tools (e.g. Canva) to make content that looks like it was made by a professional
To participate, you just need to bring your phone along and a ‘can-create’ attitude.
Please download Instagram prior to the session and ensure you’re already logged in as we’ll be using that platform primarily to edit and cut the videos.

- Verbal and physical abuse, bullying or violence is not tolerated in anyway at anytime and will result in immediate removal from any event as determined by the event organiser.
