About the Event
In the lead up to the 2025 Federal Election, the Nambour Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a free 'Meet the Candidates' event as a public service for those residing in the Fairfax Division.
Prior to any election, we have found that these types of events are an excellent way for the community to personally meet and hear from the candidates in a more informal setting.
The candidates for the seat of Fairfax are:
Rhys Sanderson (Family First), Sue Etheridge (Greens), Ted O’Brien (LNP), Naomi McQueen (ALP), Francine Wiig (Independent) and Beatrice Marsh (One Nation).
As in previous years, there will be a formal component to the evening where we will be inviting each candidate to speak on a range of issues.
We also encourage guests to stay on and speak to the candidates in person.
