by Queensland Renewable Energy Council
A co-hosted event between QREC and Minter Ellison, join us to hear the latest on a key issue for renewable energy projects.
A key part of safety management is in managing contractors – this includes consideration of pre-engagement, engagement, ongoing performance monitoring and compliance, incident response and management and post-evaluation and continuous improvement. The appropriate management of principal contractors from a safety perspective can add additional complexity. It is particularly important to ensure that roles are clearly understood and appropriate reporting and monitoring is occurring to manage responsibilities without overstepping.
Our co-hosts, experts in safety law at Minter Ellison, will lead discussions on the current issues arisen on projects as well as recommendations to minimise risk. We will discuss these as an industry, including any actions to take forward. QREC's Safety and Health Working Group will meet directly after the lunch at Minter Ellison offices.
This is an in-person event for QREC members only. Numbers are capped and booking essential.
