About the Event
Christmas in Cooroy is coming back to bring joy to the community on Friday, December 13, 2024. This yearly event promises to entertain with some of the old favourites making a comeback including the public Lighting of the Tree and a race of a very different kind. Keep your eye out for the details.
Of course, the big man himself will be making an appearance giving the kids (big and small) the opportunity to let Santa know what you would like for Christmas (but you have to promise to be good). The photo booth will be on hand to capture the special moment.
Food stalls and shopping will be aplenty with many of the stores staying open throughout the evening.

Bringing back the Float Parade in 2024, the theme is "Festive Flicks".
Jingle Joggers Jaunt around Cooroy is a fun and festive Christmas-themed adventure that encourages teamwork and creativity while exploring the local community. The objective of the Jingle Joggers Jaunt is to explore Cooroy while solving Christmas themed clues and challenges to find hidden locations and complete tasks! The first person to successfully complete all challenges and reaches the finish line wins the game.
It's all in the name, don your Santa suit ready for a 5.50pm race, registration from 5.30pm.
Get your bike decorated and show it off in all of it’s glory at Christmas in Cooroy. This competition is split into 2 categories and is open to children ages 2 – 5 yrs and 6 – 13 yrs. The theme is open to let your imagination shine through. A chance for some friendly rivalry with your fellow business buddy’s while at the same time bringing some Christmas joy to the shopping precinct. Not only do you receive the satisfaction while creating your display masterpiece and having it enjoyed by your customers and the community, but there are also prizes up for grabs.
