The event will delve into the legal landscape, key case studies, and effective strategies for navigating offset challenges, while fostering collaboration among landholders, First Nations, and other key players.

Legal landscape for offsets: We’ll cover key legislation, including the Environmental Offsets Act 2014 and the EPBC Act, and discuss compliance, approval processes, and aligning regulations.
Case studies: Learn from organisations such as EarthTrade, ACCIONA Energia, and Powerlink Queensland about practical approaches to offset obligations and landholder engagement.
First Nations involvement: Understand the opportunities for First Nations communities, including financial benefits and land access, as well as engagement complexities.
Strategic collaboration: Participate in a facilitated session focused on multi-stakeholder collaboration and policy innovations for offset arrangements.
